Call Of The Cosmos

My heart beats to the rhythm of the universe
Close my eyes
And drift into an inescapable delirium
Let me be
This is where I feel peace
My thoughts roam freely
Not for any to see
Nor for any to judge
Let me be
I come here often
I prefer to be alone
Slipping in and out of inner consciousness
Yet I feel the most awake
Don’t ask for anything
I am not here
Let me be
Climbing down into the darkness
The light is now the brightest
I’m moving with the wind
Somehow I am a part of everything
While I feel so detached
But it’s an overwhelming feeling of connection
I yearn for it all
Yet want nothing
Because desire is senseless
So let me be ©

Understanding The Nature

This poem was written late one rainy night a couple of weeks ago:

How am I supposed to catch myself,

When you’re trying to make me fall?

I try to hold my composure,

Yet you’re breaking down my walls

I’ve been in this dance before

It’s never turned out well

I find myself inebriated,

Enchanted by your spell

How can I keep you at a distance?

When you seem so very nimble

I can’t turn the clock backwards now,

My attempts would be so feeble

I’d like to try my hand at this,

I could become a connoisseur

This language I’m deciphering

Bequeaths me craving more

Somehow I have no fear

How do you do this to me?

My purpose has become so clear

I’ll coyly let you come this way…

Approach me with sincere care,

It’s up to you to go or stay ©

Raining In The Dance

Can I just sing for a little while?
This music has inhabited my body
Quickly pulsing through my skin
It heats my blood
That beat…
Can I stay here for a while?
Let me drink in this fervor
It sends me over the edge
Don’t you feel it?
Look through me
And in my eyes
You’ll glimpse a piece of this magic
I’ll share it with you
Make your next move
Be swift yet benevolent
I’m falling into the sky ©
